Steven woloshen - Scratchatopia!
[fr] Né à Montréal en 1960, Woloshen commence à réaliser des films d'animation sans caméra alors qu'il est encore étudiant, d'abord en super 8, puis en 16mm. Détail important, les premiers films de Woloshen ne semblent rien devoir à McLaren. Son of Dada se développe en effet plutôt en référence à Kurt Schwitters, tandis que Didre Novo, peut-être à cause des rythmes masaïs de sa bande sonore, fait davantage penser au Len Lye de Free Radicals.
