THE SONG OF RIO JIM

by Maurice LEMAÎTRE
1978 / b&w / sound / 1S / 6' 00

This film, directed by Maurice Lemaître to pay a tribute to Ince and to Hart, ancestors and creators of the cowboys film, has a "western" story but which is not on the image- black from the beginning to the end- but in the sound.
We will not reveal here the originality of this "narrative" sound (originality in its filmic use) but it has such an humour that spectator can't be insensitive to.
During the screening, the spectator will thus be able to imagine all possible westerns and anti-westerns.
