Born in Vienna in 1940. Independent Filmmaker since 1963. Member of the Avantgarde movement in Austria that helped establish structural film and expanded cinema in Europe in the sixties. Wrote several books about experimental film and popular movies. Made a documentary film about Kurt KREN.
