In this film several individuals are trying to stay on top of a developing story. By the film’s close, more than 161 pieces of fragmentary evidence in audio form or printed text highlight the uncertainty surrounding the immediate situation. The narrative structure of The Following Exchange is circular with the audio text and calligraphy layouts repeating each other mostly out of sync. This is a text/audio based production.
