Alice Dorn is a textile designer, engraver and film maker , born 1981. She has diplomas from the Atelier National d'art Textile, and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des metiers d'art, Paris. Her work has been exhibited numerous times in Paris and other areas of France including Brittany, where she now lives. Her first short film shot in Super 8, Rouge premiered at the Lussas Documentary Film Festival in August 2012. Most of her films are made using Super 8, (either colour or black & white) which she develops herself by hand. Deep Waters is her first medium-length film.
