LoopLoop is a 5 minutes video loop. The video is projected on a screen or a wall as an infinite loop. It can be showed,, alone but it can also be accompanied with a large print. The image is hung from the ceiling in a room and become a screen projection. The video is projected at the back of the screen.

A trip on a train going to Hanoi in Vietnam. The houses are passing by very fast next to the railroad. Using animation, sounds warping and time shifts this video runs forwards and backwards looking for forgotten details, mimicking the way memories are replayed in the mind.

Recorded Memories
While traveling in South-east Asia, I captured the day to day events, places, and people I encountered. When I came back home, many experiences and details had already been forgotten. My brain failed by the abundance of the subjects met. When I look at the video tapes of my travels, I remember those past events. My memory is activated by these images. By watching them several times, I detect new interesting facts ; a dog hidden in a corner, a sign on a wall, a strange person. For now on each one of these new details, unperceived before, takes part and contributes to my memories and souvenirs.
