It is a short film-portrait in monologue of the elder friend Rafail Nakhmanovich, sovietic documentarist and intellectual who lived in Kiev. The portrait was made in 1997 and re-visioned “with love and a bit of sorrow” after 15 years, when the words about the political situation in ex-USSR and in particular in Ukraine seem and are more actual than then.
