Current Shot 02 was made in Grenoble in cooperation with the research center for avalanches. Powder-snow avalanches are simulated in laboratories, as in natural conditions, short currents of gravitational force are tested in open air. The film shows an installation, where submarine simulations of an avalanche are made. It shows the impact and inertia of the two phased flux on the landscape model, till complete extinction of image.
A soundtrack based on binary beats especially conceived and composed by Jung An Tage for this experimental configuration. Binary beats are an acoustic illusion perceived when our two ears are submitted to lightly different frequences. We oppose it to binaraliities, binary beats are not caused by superposition of sound waves in our ear, but in parts of our brain, where the centre of spatial audition is.
