Inspired by a sudden interest for linguistics, Pelletier approached the making of this film as though he were trying to teach his camera to speak. By animating frame-by-frame to the rhythms of the spoken word and deconstructing the symbols and semantics of the written word, the resulting images are above all else a testimony to the arbitrary nature of language and its flawed categorisation of reality.
