The project of L'INTERVALLE is based on the principle of a community participation to the making of the movie. The shooting involved a practice of performance under its various forms (actions, events, happenings...). Those who were filmed and those who filmed them had to get closer, as far as possible, to the attitudes and the non spectacular gestures of the performance artists. The soundtrack is conceived and played by sound artist Mitsuaki Matsumoto.
