A collection of snapshots which all work the peculiarities of a moment or a place as much by what is shown, the beginning of a boat cruise in Amsterdam, as a gay parade in Paris, pigeons in Brasilia, or even the quest for the Mona Lisa in the meanders of the Louvre on a Sunday afternoon. These are, first of all, passages, open crossings without conclusion that encourage pursuit. yb
