This film was made during the first Hungarian abstract film workshop: the students created a free association adaptation of a poem of Guillaume Apollinaire. The film was made with direct animation techniques on 35 mm filmstrips. The film painting was created by the students of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Budapest. Apollinaire was the pope of the avant-garde: he cultivated chance, artistic chaos, and created the term and concept of Surrealism.
