A diptych composed by the two films I made in collaboration with Jérôme Noetinger.
The title evokes the reel to reel tape recorder he plays, as well the passage from the magnetic tape reel to the film reel.
Projected one after the other, in the reverse order in relation to the production chronology, we first discover the image of sound (THE SOUND DRIFTS) then in the second film (JÉRÔME NOETINGER), one can make the singular experience of listening to the same soundtrack and discovering the gestures that allowed shape it, in a portrait where we see the musician at work.
