A cameraless film produced in the darkroom and consisting of photograms of the ingredients of four dishes: alphabet soup, goulash, Kaiserschmarren, and coffee. The individual ingredients were placed directly on the film stock, exposed, and hand-processed. The film deals with the nature and components of the dishes, abstracting the activity of cooking.
FOODFILMS (Installation)
The installation brings the projected film frame back into contact with the object it depicts: through the film strip itself (displayed on a lightbox) and through the foods served on a buffet.
