LAST NIGHT, I HAD A DREAM ABOUT OUR MOTHER is one of Resurrection Series Films. It follows the concept of EUROPE RESURRECTION and continues to explore and experiment with various meaning between moving and still images states. Instead of using found images I collected, 35mm slides images I shot during my artist residence in Paris summer 2007. The way I shoot the slides in a purpose that did not allow Paris' magnificent architectural monuments to be the centerpiece of the visual composition. When shooting, I stood at the intersection of each street and road, so the streets stretched out in front of me, and the buildings would be in the two sides of the composition. On the other hand, I used this method to shoot the street scenes of the 20 districts of Paris. These street scenes shot at every intersection in the urban area of Paris form an illusion of moving forward through static slides. Such images at the same time, the concept is to echo and contrast the creative subjects of architectural attractions in the film PARIS RESURRECTION.
