GRADIENT DESCENT

The film takes its title from the defining action, GRADIENT DESCENT. The idea is to take repeated steps in the opposite direction of the gradient of the function at the current point, because this is the direction of steepest descent. Objects, formations, light, and sound shift and converge as mutating patterns and leitmotifs in a dimensional (less) space.
