By shooting on expired 16mm film, I was looking to translate into images the different states of saturation presented to us within this musical piece. I shot from under the Champlain Bridge (Montréal), looking for imposing surfaces, but also visual impasses. By creating stroboscopic effects while manipulating the camera, I wanted to dynamically put into relief the feeling of fracture that emanates from the song. The film was then hand-processed, using artisanal techniques.
