Kritik an Reiner's Vernunft derives from a unique children's talent contest on austrian television i happened to see and capture while visiting Cologne this year. I was fascinated by the perverse seriousness of the critique devoted to this children's accordion performance, complete with Olympic style scores written on cards. Here, i saw a unique oppotunity by evoking Kant's Kritik der reinen Vernunft to critique this subjective if in tellectualied projection of spectacular power. The spectacle took its revenge, however: i ended up with a virus on my computer acquired in the process of sampling the footage.
