Pip Chodorov was born in New York in 1965. Having started as filmmaker and composer, he also worked in film distribution before creating, in 1994, a Paris-based company specializing in cassette releases of historic and contemporary experimental films. His camera captures fragments of instants, the animation of the world (in the literal sense of the word), the soul of everything surrounding him, frame by frame. Film journals, animated compositions, visual movements. These are some of the bowstrings of this globe-trotting artist, musician and distributor of films.
