In 1973 with Carol Gooden, Matta-Clark opened the first restaurant in Soho, named FOOD. Many artists including Tina Girouard and Keith Sonnier worked in the kitchen. Documentary scenes include shopping at the Fulton Fish Market, preparation of lunch and dinner, a mealtime gathering of Matta-Clark and friends, clean-up and closing for the day.
