The premiere of MOVING PARTS took place on December 4th, 1974at New York's Whitney Museum.
This film is dedicated to Augustin Le Prince, French genius of proto-cinema who invented projected cinema in continuous light, and who mysteriously disappeared during a train trip between Dijon and Paris in 1890.
And also to Baruch Spinoza, famous philosopher from 17th century, who was also optical glass polisher, and who got blind because of its dust.
