Autoportrait is a creation characterized by the transformation of a form (picture or photo of a portrait or landscape) into a moving sound sculpture, but also the reinterpretation of this image in the (temporal) field of video. The process first entailed transcribing an image in the ASCII norm (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) into a series of 12,369 characters. In the second phase, this line of code was read by vocal synthesis software. The third transformation was the morphing of this line of code maintained vocally in virtual space with a Doppler.
This video is a medium correlative to music (12,369 characters) that is read between the lines in a deliberately unspectacular way.
