WATER PULU

by Ivan Ladislav GALETA
1987-1988 / 16mm / color / sound / 1S / 10' 00

In the film, the camera follows the ball in an exciting water polo match in a strange manner. The result is that the entire stadium surroundings dance in chaotic movement while the ball - as a glowing planet - remains, even flittering, centered in the frame. During the film's entire ten minutes, an aggregation of symbolic information - number, measurements, relations, signs - is active on the surface of the screen and in the virtual field of viewers' mind.
