This film uses x-rays and photographs, of the human body and its inner organs, to provide a 51-second tour of the human body in a state of agitation. With a soundtrack consisting of metal-grind "mouchrave" music, DESECRATOR offers a clinical vision of the body, using an extremely raw form of realism. The manipulation of these fragmentary anatomical images creates an unambiguous representation of the body and its outer envelope, while at the same time restoring the mystery inherent to these medical images.
