"A pursuit of the science of dust."(Hangjun Lee)... integrated the passages of liquid dynamics into a strong overall form, based on a contrast between liquid forms and "linear" forms (seemingly tracing the outline of complex organic shapes). Then within each of these segments he created a skillfully attenuated contrast between biomorphic forms and geometric forms. Further, within each of the passages he created a most remarkable polyphony (I am presuming by layering the forms): remarkable brief fugues emerged from time to time that we find simply exhilarating. And the overall form articulated a remarkable crescendo, building to a passage whose intense reds and depth effect (involving the interaction of photographed forms and hand-processing artifacts) was utterly extraordinary.(R.
