July 1993, Derek Jarman arrives in Rome for his film, BLUE, and for an exhibition of his paintings. The beginning of the conversation is suggested by himself, remembering a meeting back in 1983 in London while he was shooting PIRATE TAPES with W.S. Burroughs. L'AMORE VINCITORE is asynchronous, the sound does not keep up with the image, his body becomes landscape. This edition is dedicated to Antonio Frainer.
