Recorded in real-time, PRINCIPLE 8 demonstrates to the viewer the high level of control Botborg has over their custom audio-visual feedback system. Spats of agitated white flicker and play over a moving black canvas, threatening to erupt but somehow maintaining an equilibrium within monochrome. Finally, the screen is overturned by a disturbed glitch before being taken over by explosions of blinding color and reaching a loud and violent ending wholly appropriate to Botborg's synaesthetic approach.
