In 2007, I filmed an Iggy Pop concert with a Canon 1014 Super 8 camera loaded with Kodak 500T (color negative). Shooting from the middle of the audience was an experience that determined the film’s editing. The fragmented soundtrack reflects the disjointed shots captured from within the swaying of the crowd. I substituted the music of the Stooges (which I didn’t bother to record) with the voice of William Burroughs explaining how to make a cut-up, which helped me in making my own cut-up.
