Jean-François Reverdy lives and works in Paris. He graduated at Beaux-Art's school and cinema's school. He works like cinematographer for TV, commercial, web and documentary. In 2003, « Vidéo sténope » is an essay made with a pinhole video camera for germano-french tv Arte. It's a camera with no lens but with a piece of paper instead. Protagonists pierce a hole in it with a pin. Thus, they create the image. Ten years later, « Raw material » a documentary experience, will be presented in numerous festivals around the world and will win several prizes (Grand Prix Traces of Life, SCAM New Writings Prize ...). Still using the antique device of Pinhole, a simple hole in an opaque sheet replaces the camera lens, "Camera Insectorum" starts a series where the insect is inside the camera and changes the proportions of the world.
