ANOMALIES DANS LE PAYSAGE is a film in four tableaux – four audivisual landscapes that unfold in all their strangeness. Spices, leaves and local seaweed reveal and imbue with their hues this film shot and developed on the very banks of the Magtogoek/St. Lawrence river.
Félix Caraballo is filmmaker working in Tiohtiá:ke/Montreal and N’dakina/Marieville. He holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in cinema from the University of Montreal, where he engaged in creative research with a focus on ecological alteration techniques in experimental cinema. His artistic language ranges from short films to installations and explores primarily the connections between the properties of analog processes and landscape.
