Filmmakers must provide a suitable print, if possible new, with its reel and can when depositing a new film for distribution. Prints must be clear of splices. The right holder will inform LIGHT CONE of the location of the originals of films in distribution in order to facilitate the reprinting of new print :

• when a print of a film in distribution is irreparably damaged by an exhibitor, payment of the new print is the exhibitor's responsibility.
• when a print can no longer be distributed because of normal wear and/or deterioration during projection or travel, the payment of a new print is the right holder's responsibility.

LIGHT CONE undertakes to store the films in the best possible conditions. In order to guarantee the maximum life of a print as well as optimum projection quality, LIGHT CONE will automatically carry out any procedure necessary for its preservation (lacquering, de-scratching, etc.) and will automatically deduct the cost incurred from the right holder's rental account.
