Why "Pyramid" is a work about a sphere is a secret known only to me (and perhaps guessed at by Leighton Pierce). My protagonist was gifted from Roelof Louw's "Soul City (Pyramid of Oranges)" [1967], which was exhibited in the Tate Modern's "Conceptual Art in Britain 1964-1979." Additional inspiration generated by John Hilliard's "Camera Recording its Own Condition (7 Apertures, 10 Speeds, 2 Mirrors)" [1971], also in the same exhibition, and of course, Kurt Kren.
