In AÍ, the letters "a" and "i" are present in the words "raíz" (root) and "país" (country), but the title itself plays with the idea of "ahí" (there), twisted and distorted. The film proposes different ways of relating to the territory by walking through the space, exploring it, and placing a flag on one of its mounds—a vestige of previous occupations. This flag bears a textural weave of words, while the sound weaves another layer into the experience, taking the form of a mantra. AÍ is an exploration of space, memory, and presence, where each element interacts to form a complex and evolving narrative of place.
