The 16-mm film Between C&D explores a metaphorical world of inner dilemmas. The title refers to the protagonist's tragic choice between two concepts of life, where "C" stands for Christian (the Apollinian) and "D" for Dionysian (the Dionysian). With this work Lurie explores visual forms of the European man's eternal quest for the fragile balance between sensory and spiritual experiences.
