Born 1970, Leningrad, USSR. Russian-Norwegian artist.
Lives and works in Oslo, Norway.
Film and video artist, photographer. Head of the independent DodoFilm Company. Dimitri (Dodo) Lurie is a representative of the Europe's art film community and has a particular poetic voice. His credo is to experiment with a visual nature of film rather than a storytelling. Dimitri has made over twenty documentaries and short films along with various art projects. Lurie's works were presented in various international film festivals and art exhibitions worldwide and collected a number of awards.
