'Conceptual Cameraless Film Work'.
A structural film that studies the timing of a shot and its place within the frame. The easiness provided by the knowledge that cinema amounts to mathematics and time, the timing of the scene, and generated by the abstract figure contained within the frame, that is, two numbers that overlap and that by adding up together they determine their own duration, letting not a chance to fortune. The combination of a unit with all the rest, but the repetition of itself. The spatial disposition of the figure inside the frame is also important, since it is always placed right at the centre, so if the figure moves to one side, the whole set will be 'moved' and out of place, so that we will see on screen the perforations-windows of the celluloid, even though separations between frames are still respected. Numerical phalansteries, self-sufficiency between hopscotch games and impossible rewards. Numbers, magic keys that give birth to sounds in favour of harmony, executed through Scipios' dreams striving for the inevitable fight. [Ana Isabel Aréjula. Madrid, 2002]
