Paul DE NOOIJER

Nationality: Dutch

Paul de Nooijer attended the Academie voor Industriële Vormgeving in Eindhoven from 1960 to 1965, where he was taught by Frans Zwartjes. In 1969, he started working as a freelance photographer.

In 1972, he and Zwartjes together made Moving Stills, which was followed by a series of short films in which photography plays a major role. In America, he worked together with Jerry Musser. His son Menno worked intensively on his later films.

In addition to film and photography, De Nooijer also gives guest lectures at universities and colleges in Germany, the United States, and elsewhere.
