SooHyun Jamie Kim is an experimental filmmaker/artist born in Seoul, South Korea. Kim mainly works with 16mm film installation to show the contrast in the theme of her subjects. Her mission is to capture the ephemeral subjects into a more tangible language and prevent our dreams and memories from disappearing in this world.
She finished her education in California Institute of the Arts where she learned to conceptualize and materialize the forever disappearing things : Dreams, memories and our sentiments. She is finishing her masters in EICAR, Paris where she learned a more narrative way to express herself.
