In WHY I HATE BEES, I play with the way memory precedes or maintains the stories we tell and the way it lingers on the things we don't tell in them. Using the optical printer, the color, the animation, the edit and the sound, I interpret the souvenirs and point of view of a young narrator, sometimes in direct contact with her story, other times suggesting what she may have experienced but doesn't tell.
