This work explores the question of how cinema represents portraits via analysis of 51 English-speaking films from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. The shots which contain portraits are extracted from these films and then rearranged according to their respective characteristics. The artist then creates a Hollywood story-line by synchronizing these scattered materials into a story.
