A NOVA REALIDADE (almost an anagram of AVALON DEEP RAID) focused especially on the ideological content of Mamoru Oshii’s « Avalon », which is symptomatic of the beliefs of an era.
In A NOVA REALIDADE, AVALON is involved in two ways: with and without the copy protection system. However, a lack of visibility leave more space to the words of the intertitles. The soundtrack is a lengthy grinding sound, a widely modified excerpt of Lou Reed’s « Metal Machine Music ».
