NANDAN KÂNAN (Indra's paradise of the Vedic tradition) is an echo to GANEDEN, Maurice Lemaître's movie on which I had worked. NANDAN KÂNAN includes the exemplary performance of Isidore Isou and Lemaître, filmed by Orson Welles for his documentary on Saint-Germain-des-prés. In NANDAN KÂNAN, Lettrist poetry is faced with the hegemonistic trading language of the World Wide Web. The soundtrack, properly « discrépant », comes from « La lettre et le silence », a Maurice Lemaître record.
