"A found footage work with a S 8 print of the color movie THIS ISLAND EARTH from 1955. We treated the silver emulsion with an aggressive bleach and other chemicals until it began to burn. After drying the material it was reorganized on the optical printer. When we watched the print we recorded some personal comments on the storyline and added them to the soundtrack. In 2010 I made the digital print from the treated original and the only existing S 8 print." -Jürgen Reble, 2019
