LE FAUX RHUM DES HALLES

by Michel AMARGER
1986 / 8mm / color / sound / 1S / 15' 43

Taking a specific place, the Forum des Halles in Paris, as a starting point, the author proposes an esthetic reflection based on an observation of the structure and rhythm of one of its elements: the escalators. An anecdotal situation is attached to the title, based on a play on words. The soundtrack is composed of a mix of suspense and action music accentuating the ironic side of the film.
