Filmed in one long continuous take directly into the sun. The light increases and decreases according to the movement of clouds which work like a filter to both reveal and obscure the intensity of the suns light.
The register of movement as a result of using a hand held camera is an important aspect of this film. The possibility of chance has also been considered In making SUNSPOT in both image and sound, especially 'out of frame' sound allowing for the unpredictable to occur.
