BUT I COULDN'T SEE HER FACE is one of Resurrection Films. It follows the concept of EUROPE RESURRECTION and continues to explore and experiment with various meaning between moving and still images states. Instead of using found images I collected, 35mm slides images I shot, composed, collaged during my artist residence in Paris summer 2007. These images of the classic/avant garde/modern/famous/decayed/communal architectures in Paris are all together converted into 35 mm film and adjusted into different cinematic space expand by digital technique. Though Paris is a city never in lack of artists' glorification, taken from a fresh angle. The unconventional exploration of Paris is further demonstrated in BUT I COULDN'T SEE HER FACE, viewers are given different vision to perceive this beautiful city.
