The three videos — FRAGS, HOPIS, PARTS — have been made, separately, out of three original films: 71 FRAGMENTS OF A CHRONOLOGY OF CHANCE, KOYAANISQATSI, ELEMENTARY PARTICLES.
The choices flow out of their subjects: fragmentation, time, chance, accident, as well as their characteristics, colorimetric or acoustic, in relation with their themes. The videos can be shown separately or as an installation (triptych) titled Simulacre set1.
The recomposition of this matrix, manipulated through the (technological) prism, veils an ensemble of veils, which only veil other veils.
