BARN (1978, 3'00)
The question of whether to expose the film for interior or exterior is resolved by taking two frames alternately at each exposure. These two extremes of exposure are gradually reduced to a mid-position in a sequence that repeats in waves. This is a time-lapse film as well as a kind of "flicker" film.
CYCLE (1978, 3'00)
Cycling in circles through a puddle of water. Wet trails dry in the sun as shadows arc around me.
TREE REFLECTION (1997-1998, 3' 00)
A film palindrome. The image of a tree and its reflection is printed twice, superimposed, the second time upside-down and backwards. A very slow cross-fade is made between the two layers of film. Surprisingly, a little coot, seen at both ways of the film, appears each time to be the right way up.
