This film was made from a super-8 rush probably shot in 1975. It shows Mimie, my mother, in her garden. All I kept from the original rush were the close-ups or profile shots that obscure her real occupation, in order to raise questions about her activity and remove all the affect present in an amateur film. What I like in these images is the atmosphere of happiness that emanates from them.
