TIME SPACE MOTION

by Shinkan TAMAKI new filmmaker
2017 / Video / color / sound and silent / 1 screen / 28' 30

The light through the window was recorded at time compressed to 1/120th during the season when the sun is at its lowest. The light went deep into the architecture, illuminating the shape of the space and the expression of the structure. I imagine the existence of the atmosphere and the infinite course of light through flickering variation. If time is defined as the movement of sunlight due to the rotation of the Earth, I can say that I'm observing "time" as well as space and light.
